I am passionate about preaching the gospel that others may hear and be saved. I emphasize God's grace, because no one is saved without it. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. I want those who are not saved to hear the gospel and come to Christ. I want those who are saved to hear the Word of God preached that they may be strengthened in Christ and grow to maturity.
I came to know the Lord as a young teenager. Not having a good foundation I floundered in my faith until I was 24. It was then the Lord miraculously and wonderfully delivered me, and I have grown tremendously since then. I began a life of prayer, followed by reading the Scriptures from cover-to-cover on a yearly basis, and obeying what I read.
I was called by God into the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ on October 5, 1985 with the passage found in Acts 26:16-18. I have been married to the former Barbara Edwards since July 5, 1980. We have two married children, and 5 wonderful grandchildren.
